The safari will combine gorilla trekking and a cultural encounter by visiting the gorilla guardian village. Gorillas live deep into the jungles of Virunga volcanoes which are shared between Uganda, Rwanda and Democratic republic of Congo. The tour will take you up to volcano national park which is a perfect inhabitant for mountain gorillas found in northern Rwanda boarders with Uganda full of beautiful sceneries of thousands of hills.

DAY 1 : ARRIVAL KIGALI AND VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK.
The guide will pick you from the airport or place of residence and have a brief tour around Kigali the capital city of Rwanda where you will visit the Kigali genocide memorial center, kandt national museum and the presidential museum depending on the time, have lunch and after embark on the historical memorial tour to volcano national park. The journey lasts for 2 hours and 30 minutes from Kigali.
DAY 2 : GORILLA TREKKING VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast, the guide will take you to the briefing area to know about the whole day fascinating adventure into the wilderness of volcano national park and the expectations in the park. Here you will enjoy Rwandan dances and a cup of coffee as you wait for others to gather and also get tips on how to behave in the park like no flash on the cameras and after join a group which you will follow for trekking and the driver will drive you to the start of the trail to the allocated gorilla family. You will have leisure in the wilderness or decide to take an optional activity of visiting the twin lakes.
